As a key member of the Wayfinding Study, our staff assisted in determining the best approach to inter and intra-terminal and pedestrian wayfinding. As a result of this study, a comprehensive Airport-wide Wayfinding Approach Principles and Criteria was developed. The study included:
- Assessment and documentation of the strengths and weaknesses of existing wayfinding conditions
- Surveys for both arriving and departing passengers
- Journey Segment analysis for arriving, departing and connecting passengers and information at key decision points
- Recommended naming format for new and existing facilities
- Airport wide wayfinding strategy for static and digital systems
- Benchmarked the use of nomenclature, symbols and wayfinding practices
- Coordination and engagement with key stakeholders
